ENFL and Forestry University
In 2009 ENFL and Forestry University first started to meet in
order to discuss a joint effort to bring the best possible education to
students. The Forest University already had a language department that does
offer language classes, but the classes are very large in number of students
and the times only coincide with the school year. ENFL, a private education company,
first signed agreements offering English classes that would have flexible times
and offer small and private classes so that students had more options to
improve their English. (In China, a person’s English level has a very big
impact on their salary and ability to find work.) These classes, at first,
consisted mostly of Forestry University students, but were also open to the
public. Through word of mouth class enrollment grew and students from many
areas started to take the classes being offered. With the improvement of the
students, the relationship between ENFL and Forestry University grew. Forestry
University continues to have its own language department, but because ENFL classes
offer: flexibly, individual attention, material specialization, unique teaching
style, and more, the popularity of ENFL classes continues to grow. Since the
beginning of 2010, ENFL has signed new agreements with the University offering
classes to students who want to study any language, such as German or Spanish.
The main focus of ENFL though is its studying English and Chinese programs. The Chinese programs have had great success
for the same reason as the English programs. Students are happy with the individual
attention and how their individual needs are met; with students from around the
world participating in these classes. Some take classes at night because of a
daily work schedule; others take an intensive short term course with class’s
everyday for several hours at a time. Everyone’s individual and group demands
such as starting dates and material are different and with the joint effort of
a public University and a private institution working together we at ENFL we
are able to work with the student to fill those needs.
