Internship in China

Throughout history people that have relocated to the emerging market have come away better then the people that stayed behind. Right now, any economic report will tell you that it is China that is the now emerging market. For anyone that wants or plans to do business in the future they will probably have some type of relations with China. What better way to understand Chinese business than to do an internship at a Chinese company.

  Two programs available.  Study/Internship and Internship

Study and Internship

This program is for anyone that wants to improve their Chinese while getting hands on work experience in China. The student’s day is separated into two parts. The morning is full of Chinese classes and then after lunch the student begins his internship. On average the student internship will be between 12-20 hours a week and class time is based on the class program that is chosen normally 10-20 hours a week. Our internships are arranged so you are not just making coffee or copying papers. You will be able to sit in on important meeting, learn Chinese culture when greeting clients, learn business gift giving, Chinese laws for certain business fields and much more. One student commented, “I never realized all the difference, I mean I heard of them, but wow, I could never have learned what I did back at home in the States.”

Internship only

If you want to focus on working in China this program is for you. Take an internship at one or two Chinese business. Get as much real life business experience in China as possible. Go to business dinners, sit in on meetings, negotiate with clients, practice the art of gift giving, study marketing in China and more. Your internship schedule will be arranged for about 15-40 hours a week. (Contact us for your desired specific amount of in business experience.) 

Internship periods are normally from 1 week to 3 months time.
