Housing

There are many options for housing when coming to Beijing. We offer our students both the option of living on the Forestry University campus in the dorms and the option of living off campus. The off campus options consist of apartments, single room, rent a room in a two/three/four bedroom apartment, homestead, hostel or hotel. If you would like you can reserve a hotel room for the first couple of days upon arriving and at that time we can put you in contact with a renting agent (most students find it takes less than a week to find a suitable place to live). That way, unlike many schools that put you where they want you to live, with us you may personally decide.

One thing though, many students like the convenience of living in the dorms, for this option it must be reserved in advance; all other options may be decided upon arrival)

Just a note: China is a developing country and many foreigners coming from developed countries are not accustomed to the living standard found in China.  To make this as clear as possible if you want your living situation to be like the one in your home country expect to pay a high price, if you want to live like a local it will not be as comfortable of a living situation but it will be a lot cheaper.
